Leaves of Absence

  • Please contact HR via email regarding requests for leave as soon as you are made aware of an employee’s need for leave.
  • ADP will guide leaders throughout the process of the requirements, eligibility and paperwork as this varies by state and the type of leave.
  • All LOA will be processed through ADP.

Examples of Qualifying Reasons for Leave

  • For the birth of and care for a newborn child; for placement with the employee of a child for adoption or foster care.
  • Care for the employee’s spouse, son, daughter, or parent with a serious health condition.
  • Because of a serious health condition that makes the employee unable to perform their job duties.
  • Because of any qualifying exigency arising out of the fact that the employee’s spouse, son, daughter or parent is a covered military member on active duty or has been notified of an impending call or order to active duty.
  • Care for an employee’s covered service member with a serious injury/illness if employee is the service member’s spouse, son, daughter, parent or next of kin.

Workers’ Compensation Injury Reporting Hotline ADP TotalSource® is available 24 Hours a Day; 7 Days a Week; 365 Days a Year: 800-553-4681.

The Workers’ Compensation claim will be assigned to a designated TPA adjuster for investigation. Any claim involving time off from work will involve medical case management from our TPA’s Case Management team dedicated to ADP TotalSource. ADP TotalSource Claims Management will monitor Return to Work efforts on all lost time claims and assist where needed; Risk Management Claims Unit (800-829-9306) will have access to all claims information to answer any questions you may have.
